Masters of Wine Weekend-March 2012, put Turkish wines on the map as an array of renowned 7 Masters of Wine-wine tasters such as Christy Canterbury, Tim Hanni, Sheri Morano from USA, Sarah Abbott, Tim Atkin, Peter McCombie from England, Ned Goodwin from Japan to taste and evaluate different Turkish grapes and wine brands. All over the world there are 299 people so called Masters of Wine. In this event wine enthusiasts are encouraged to join the event to get a chance to taste Turkish red, white, and rose wines as well as having the opportunity to dine with the famous wine tasting professionals. Workshops also were held focused on the tasting of special wines from different regions such as France and Spain. 274 Turkish winery were participated to the event.
